What we collect
When you send a form we keep what you type: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email if you give it, and the details of your request. For Sell and Swap requests we also keep the photos of your car that you upload. We do not ask for ID numbers or documents on this website.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your request: to call or message you about the car you want to import, buy, sell, swap or hire. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.
Where it is kept and for how long
Your details are stored securely by our website provider and can only be read by Alatise Motors staff. Photos you upload are stored privately. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless you become a customer and the law requires us to keep records longer.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email and we will do it.
Cookies and your browser
This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising tools. Your own browser remembers a few small settings, which never leave your device: your Reduce motion choice (stored as “alatise_motion”), and, until you close the tab, whether you have already seen the opening animation, the car-light animation and the motion notice.
Services that handle your details
The website is hosted by Vercel. Enquiry forms are stored in a database run by Supabase. If staff email alerts are switched on, a short copy of your enquiry is sent to our staff email through Resend. If spam protection is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form. A Google map loads only if you tap “Show the map here”, and “Open in Google Maps” takes you to Google’s own site. To limit repeated form sends, the website keeps a coded (hashed) version of your internet address for a short time; it cannot be read back.
